My name is Yiyang Zhao (赵一阳 in chinese), I am a Research Scientist at Meta. I completed my Ph.D in Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), advised by Prof. Tian Guo. My Ph.D dissertation is available here. I was born in Tsingtao (China). Before joining to WPI, I earned my bachelor degree in Electronic and Information Engineering from Xidian University(Xi'an, China), and my master degree in Computer Engineering from Northeastern University (Boston, U.S.A.).
I am a big fan of computer game and enjoy designing and programming them. Additionally, I am a good amateur pianist, and I love playing basketball and traveling. I like technology, I like artificial intelligence, I like cute puppy and I love my life. Here is my CV.
Designing deep learning (DL) models is typically reserved for experts. My primary research interest is to bridge the gap between everyday life and the field of artificial intelligence (AI), making AI and DL accessible to everybody through the use of Neural Architecture Search (NAS). I am also interested in application in machine learning and large language models.
